Youth sports is the lifeblood of Big Bear, and our business is centered on our tournaments. Most employees begin their careers playing in these events as kids, and through the love of their chosen sport, pursue a path in a sports related field. Many past participants join our team while away at college as scorekeepers or on-ice official for some added income. The company also offers diverse career opportunities at our home office in other areas as well, such as Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting. Additionally, Big Bear is dedicated to recognizing and rewarding employees for their hard work and loyalty. In fact, the majority of our management team is promoted from within.

Tournaments and Events
If you are interested in a position in a specific venue as a scorekeepers or on ice official please apply online approximately 12 weeks or longer prior to the event. We appreciate your interest and patience.
Big Bear is committed to promoting from within the company. The majority of our current home and regional staff are home grown. This means that they started either playing or working in an event, learned the business and moved up within the company. This philosophy also ensures promotional opportunities for motivated individuals.
Today, we have a full time home office staff who began their careers as scorekeeper, on ice officials, or tournament directors. We believe that our future officers are currently working in our youth sporting events, as well as in our Home Office.
